I am married to Laurence Steven and have four adult children - Anna, Tom, Carolyn and Elaine - plus three sons-in-law - Neal, Jeremy, and Alex - and one daughter-in-law, Julie - and three grandkids – Elliot, Jasper, and Walter. Laur and I have a honorary son - Monty.

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Masters in Humanities and in the past I worked occasional part-time at Laurentian University's counseling and support program.

I am a Commissioned Chaplain through the Mennonite Church of Eastern Canada. I am a friendly visitor and a pastoral care team member at Grace Mennonite Church.

I am a vegan and vegan mentor, and enjoy the company of companion animals. I enjoy walking, cycling, swimming, and hiking.

I am both a Mennonite and Methodist and have served as a lay preacher and pastoral care visitor at All Peoples United Church in Sudbury.

My hubs and I live in St. Catharines, Ontario. We love to visit Sudbury, Ontario in the summer – our home for many years – and Arizona in the winter, if the opportunity arises.

Love always! / jan

If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple.

But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas. - George Bernard Shaw
